Hi There,

My name is Sam. I’ve always been a DIY type of guy, but in the last few years I’ve really become a renewable energy fanatic. After building a few DIY solar panels and wind turbines, I was hooked.

I wanted to share this information with the world, so I asked my Grandson to explain the whole World Wide Web thing to me and help me create this website.

Now, with the help of him and some other old friends, we maintain a website for folks interested in Do It Yourself renewable energy.

Since we started we’ve seen a ton of how-to guides and reviewed a bunch of ‘em. Most are garbage, but there are a few great ones which we’ve reviewed for you.

SolarEnergySavvy.com is dedicated to providing you with the resources and information necessary to start going green at home. Climate change and rising fuel costs, coupled with shrinking supply, are a very real concern for life as we know it on this planet.

By educating yourself and taking action, however, you can all do your part for the environment and make a positive impact on the planet.
