Welcome to my Earth4Energy review. Lots of folks have been getting this how-to guide, so does it live up to all the hype?

Let’s take a look.

First off, I’m a hard working guy that doesn’t like to throw his money down the drain, my wife even accuses me of being a miser at times… but it’s for the good of the family, right?

When I first came across Earth4Energy awhile back, I was definitely curious. And a bit skeptical. I have an Engineering background, and the thought of saving money on my electric bill (forever) certainly caught my eye.

At the time, I had never really put together any type of solar or wind energy systems, although I must say I’ve always been curious.

We recycle and use those fluorescent lightbulbs in our home, and we try to do our part for the earth, so this seemed like one more good thing we could do. (I have to admit that the saving money part is what really got me excited, but if I can do good AND save money, then we’re on to something here!)

An old college friend of mine (Mike) got this package last year, and one weekend I was over at his house for a BBQ and saw that he had solar panels on his roof and a small wind turbine quietly humming away in his back yard. I didn’t tell him, but I was highly impressed with the work, and just a tad bit jealous. I assumed he’d shelled out a small fortune to a contractor to come set up solar at his house, but then he mentioned that he’d done it all himself with some materials he picked up at the hardware store. I thought that was a little far fetched, but he took me inside and showed me the package he bought that taught him how to put it all together. (At the time an Earth4Energy review was the last thing on my mind

Things started to click for me… the details were extremely clear, the instructions literally walked you through everything and left no stone unturned. Then Mike said, in a matter of fact tone, “Yep, we’re almost completely 100% powering our house with this stuff.” He showed me his electric bill for the last month, and I was surprised to see it was a single digit, quite unlike my 3 digit bill.

While Mike is a good friend, he was never the brains of the group back in school. I knew right then and there that if he could do it, I most certainly could too. I picked up my own Earth4Energy package that night and began to check it out. After successfully completing my own solar and wind energy projects at home in a few weekends, I decided to write this Earth4 Energy review based on my experience.

Here is a breakdown of what’s in the package:

I. The eBook – This is the main part of the guide, and the sections I found most helpful were:

A complete explanation of how solar systems work, and how to get the electricity from your panels to the outlets in your home. This portion also goes over the basic components of the system so you can familiarize yourself with everything. Some of these systems and their descriptions include:

The Kilowatt-hour meter. Seemingly simple, this is actually one of the most important components to have, and the Earth4Energy Guide tells you all about it.

Inverters – What they are, how they work, and how you can find one for ten bucks.

An EXTREMELY valuable tip to get FREE SOLAR PANELS. This tip actually saved me more money than anything.

How you can wire solar panels on your own and save a lot of money by avoiding pre-fabricated components.

How to create your own solar energy panels from very low cost materials.

How to construct your own wind generator. This section includes some handy tips, including:

5 things all wind turbines have in common, and why you need to make sure you don’t get oversold by a manufacturer calling it some fancy name and charging more than they should.

A section on how to cut the blades to create maximum efficency.

A guide to sizing requirements, so you know exactly how much electricy you need and how big of a system to build

The best wiring combinations, so you can wire your system optimally and prevent overlaods.

II. The Videos – These are amazingly helpful. Nothing beats actually watching someone go through the steps right in front of you. These are being updated constantly, and you can find a really good tutorial about building solar cells. It shows you how to actually do this yourself, by hand, and save a load of money on pre-fabricated pieces.

III. The CD – You can get the complete package in an instant download, or in CD form. The download is obviously faster, but the CD option is available.

IV. The Bonuses – Michael Harvey has put together a really compelling guide here, but on top of everything he includes some really great bonuses. I’ve noticed over time that he’s always adding to these, so I won’t mention them here because everything is updated so often. Some folks have mentioned that the bonuses alone were worth more than the cost of the Earth4Energy Guide. A few people have said I should cover more of the bonuses in this Earth4Energy Review, but the simple fact is they’re always improving and I don’t want to give outdated info!

I hope you’ve enjoyed my Earth4Energy review, and can soon start making your own electricity while doing your part for the planet at the same time!

All the best,

-Sam

Maybe you’ve heard about HomeMadeEnergy.org and you’re wondering “Is this the real deal or some sort of scam?”

After untold hours of research and completing my own successful solar panels and wind turbines, I can tell you Bill Ford has put together a package that works. If you look at what your time is worth to you, and how much time you’ll save by using a clearly written guide, then this guide becomes invaluable.

Home Made Energy is a guide that was developed by Scientist, Researcher, Inventor, and Energy Consultant Bill Ford, and he points out that nearly 94% of the energy we consume in the US comes from non-renewable sources such as coal and oil.

Click HERE to Visit Home Made Energy

In fact, petroleum, natural gas, and coal account for almost 85% of US energy consumption, while wind solar, and hydro power don’t even amount to 3%.

HomeMadeEnergy.org aims to change these statistics one household at a time. They’ll provide you with all the steps you need to make your own solar panels or wind turbines to create energy that you can convert to electricity. All you need is sunshine and wind, two things we see plenty of throughout the year.

It’s been a goal of Mr. Ford’s for many years to try to save the environment by getting rid of harmful gasses and pollutants, and he’s been a long time advocate of free renewable energy . Many people aren’t sure how they can do this, and while they may love the idea of using solar energy, they feel they can’t afford the thousands of dollars it would cost to have a solar system installed in their home.

It’s true that having professionals install brand new solar panels and wind turbines can costs thousands upon thousands of dollars, but they mechanics of these devices are actually quite simple, and can be constructed at home as a great weekend project.

Any downsides to Home Made Energy?

If I really had to dig in here, I’d say there are two small flaws:

1. This guide is only available in English. If you only speak another language, than this product is not for you. However, if you can read and understand this review, then you’ll have no problem following the instructions in Home Made Energy.

2. It only comes as a downloadable eBook in electronic format. At first I thought I would prefer to have it shipped to me as a book, but their support explained why they do this. First, they are always updating the guide and taking feedback from users. Instead of having you have an outdated version, you get lifetime access to all the latest editions. Second, you don’t have to wait for shipping, you get the download instantly.

Other than these two things I’d give this product a 10. Solar Energy Savvy subscribers seem to agree, giving this product 4.5 stars out of 5!

If saving money, doing your part the environment, and becoming energy independent are important to you, pick up Home Made Energy today.

All the best,

People ask me all the time “is Green DIY Energy a scam?” I can certainly understand the concern, I’ve been burned by some fly by night Internet operations and my guard is always up.

However, for this website I’ve reviewed over 20 Do It Yourself renewable energy packages, and I can say that this one is on the level. First of all, it’s not a scam. You get instant access to all the material as soon as you order it.

So what do you get?

One of the things I like about Green DIY Energy is that there is simply a lot of content. Some of these home energy products throw a few poorly written eBooks at you (without pictures!) and send you on your way.

Click HERE to Visit Green DIY Energy

[My Grandson put this Green DIY Energy Review video together for me]

Green DIY Energy gives you:

*4 complete guides: two solar guides and two wind guides

*7 bonus eBooks on topics like solar arrays, tax credits, wind maps, how to install solar panels, and more

*7 very complete videos. I found these most helpful, because they range from 20 to 50 minutes and I seem to learn better from videos.

As they update and improve the course, you get access to everything added.

Although I do really like the videos, it’s also a plus to have all the eBooks because when I’m in the backyard or workshop putting these things together, I like to have the book handle so I can make notes and have a ready reference. However, I’ll admit that I did take the laptop out to the garage once so I could watch the video while I put a solar panel together! You’ll find your own favorite way of working with the material, but it’s nice to have options.

Are there Downsides?

Sure there are some downsides, nothing is perfect. For one, I thought at first that I would be getting a series of books in the mail. It turns out that you actually get an electronic download of all the materials. The old timer in me likes hardcover books, but the nice thing about the eBook is that you get it instantly, no waiting. You also get lifetime access to the course material, so as they improve it over time you get to reap the benefits.

Another thing that may be considered a downside is that, as of this writing, the course is only available in English. Now, people all over the world are taking advantage of nature’s free energy, so I don’t know why they don’t make this course available in other languages. If you can read this review, however, it won’t be a problem for you.

The Bottom Line

Green DIY Energy is a great course, and I recommend you check it out if you are want to reduce your electric bill and do your part for the environment. SolarEnergySavvy.com readers have rated it 4.5 stars out of 5, mostly because of the sheer volume of quality content that you get for the money.

Thanks for taking the time to check out my Green DIY Energy Review.

Best of luck with your own Solar Energy project,

Heating water can be one of the most expensive things your home does every month, and a passive solar water heater can pay for itself in a very short time.

Even a commercial solar water heating system costing thousands of dollars is a good investment, but building one yourself is way better in my opinion.

Folks have been asking me if this manual is any good, so I decided to create a video DIY Solar Water Heater review to set the record straight.

First things first, this book is on the level. It’s not a scam, and you get nearly 100 pages of solid content as soon as you purchase it. I’ve checked out nearly 20 of these types of products and they range from pure garbage to excellent. This one is excellent, or I wouldn’t bother recommending it.

Click HERE to Visit DIY Solar Water Heater

So, let’s dive in. What do you get for your money?

The DIY Solar Water Heater how to guide, nearly 100 pages of instructions with pictures and illustrations

BONUS #1 – Solar Power For Energy

BONUS #2 – Energy Saving Tips

BONUS #3 – Go Green Save Green

BONUS #4 – Living Green

All of the bonuses are valued at $39 each, so they’re actually worth more than the main Manual itself.

This Manual was put together by a guy named Tom Hayden, and the first thing he says is that the Course focuses on building a passive solar water heating system. This is simpler to build than an active system, and less of a headache. Throughout the Course, there are tons of illustrations so you can follow along exactly. Every single component is explained, so that even if you don’t know anything about solar heating you can learn it all.

Are there any downsides?

To be honest, I was a little overwhelmed when I first purchased this Course several years ago. I’m the type that likes to scan through the entire thing first, and it was a bit too much to take it all at once. I recommend that you scan it once so you become familiar with everything, and then go back step by step as you build your own system.

Every resource you will need is in the Manual, you just have to take it one step at a time.

Also, the Manual is only available in English. This didn’t make sense to me, because it seems like developing countries could really use the advice in this guide. But, if you speak English, then it’s no big deal.

Throughout the Course, Tom walks you through pumps, construction, insulation, and all the other components of the system in plain English. There’s nothing too technical and he doesn’t bog you down with jargon. This was truly designed for the average homeowner to take advantage of the sun’s free energy.

Conclusion

While it’s a lengthy read, the DIY Solar Water Heater package is the best one on the market. It’s also been rated nearly 5 stars by SolarEnergySavvy.com readers too, and there have been a lot of great stories I’ve heard from folks who have constructed their own home solar water heater systems. If you want to lower your electricity bills, do your part for the planet, and have a great weekend project to work on, I highly recommend you pick up DIY Solar Water Heater.

All the best,

-Sam

Hello everyone,

In this Green Living Kit Review, I’ll discuss what I think is one of the most complete Green DIY Kits you can find. People often ask me “Is the Green Living Kit some type of a scam?”

I got curious myself (there are some really terrible products out there) so I decided to buy the kit, read all of it, and then write a complete Green Living Kit Review for the readers of SolarEnergySavyy.com.

I try to just present the facts here so you can make an informed decision, and keep the fluff to a minimum. Without any further ado, let’s dive in:

Click here to visit the Green Living Kit

Name of Course or Program: Green Living Kit

Company: DIY workshop of Tom Hayden

Format of Program: 12 separate eBooks

Description: Each of the 12 eBooks covers a different “green” topic. These include: DIY Solar Panels, Build Your Own Wind Turbine, DIY Solar Water Heater, DIY Organic Gardening, DIY Chicken Coop, DIY Solar Hot Tub, DIY Solar Generator, DIY Solar Oven, DIY Green House, DIY Solar Pool Heater, DIY Root Cellar, DIY Solar Shower

Installation and Access: Download to your PC for offline access on your PC

Cost: two options -Monthly Membership for only $9.99/month, Get All 12 Guides Immediately $77

Skill Level: Complete Beginner to Expert

Overall Organization: The content is very well organized. The only issue is that you get so much information! This could keep you busy for some time… The actual layout of each book is very well done, however.

Quality of Content: Good to excellent. Each of the 12 eBooks is solid on its own, and the information is easy to follow and very complete

Ease of Use: Excellent. Each of the eBooks in this package was designed for the complete novice to follow along.

Technical Support: email support

Guarantee: 60 day 100% money back guarantee.

Overall Evaluation: This is a fantastic package that packs in more than any other guide we’ve bought and reviewed. I’m not sure what they aren’t selling these all as separate products, but the combination of all 12 eBooks makes this a fantastic value. I would think this product is geared toward the person that really wants to see to see all of their “Green” options.

Comments: This package is a new comer to the Renewable Energy market, and that may explain why they are offering so much. Other courses we recommend here on SolarEnergySavvy.com are very good, but none are as complete as the Green Living Kit. One of the findings of this Green Living Kit Review is that they have not cut corners either, so the only explanation I can think of for including so much information at such a low price is that they are competing with very popular products like Earth4Energy.

My Recommendation: Highly Recommended. Suitable for any skill level. You can buy it with confidence.

Whether you want to lower your electrical bill or eliminate it altogether, you can do it easily and quickly by producing your own energy with a DIY wind generator. The size wind generator you make will play a part in determining how much wind energy you can produce. You may want to start off small until you’re more secure in your knowledge of what you’re doing or you may want to go all the way. Whichever you choose, you’ll love the independence from rising utility costs you’ll experience with your wind generator.

You may find it much easier to start small with your wind generator at first is you’re unsure of yourself. But, I promise you that you’ll find it very easy to build your own winder generator and you’ll be the envy of your entire neighborhood. Before you even think about building your wind generator, it’s important that you have strong enough wind blowing where you live or you’d be wasting time and money building something that just won’t work.

One of the most important things when you’re building your DIY wind generator is to make sure that you have an instruction guide or manual that provides you with the right technological knowledge and ideas as well as step-by-step instructions. It should also tell you the materials that are required, where you can get these materials and how to do the assembly of these materials.

Most DIY wind generators are made of materials that are simple, cheap to buy and easy to find and can usually be found in hardware stores, junk yards or home building stores. A good set of instructions for DIY wind generators will list any cheap or generic materials that can be used as a way to save you even more money. The more parts you can find in the local junk store, scrap yard or second-hand store, the less it’s going to cost you.

You may have been putting off “going green” because you thought, even though it was a good idea, it was just out of your reach financially. However, once you see how, instead of spending thousands of dollars for a professionally installed wind energy system, cheaply and easily you can put together your own DIY wind generator, you may not want to stop at one. You’ll want to help others do the same thing. This won’t be hard when they see the money you’re saving on utility bills. While they’re worrying about the rising costs of electricity, you can start saving all that extra money towards that new flat screen.

It’s important that you realize that once you finish your DIY wind generator, you won’t be able to go “off the grid” completely yet and rely solely on your generator for ALL your power, but you will be saving a substantial amount in your utility bills. You will also be producing clean energy without all the pollution you find in non-renewable energy sources. It’s a win win situation when you decide to help the earth stay green by building your own wind generator.

The great thing about some of these DIY wind generator kits is that they not only can be built at home in your garage or workshop but can be built in a few weeks or possibly less, depending on your available spare time. If all of this sounds interesting to you, don’t waste another minute or another dime on electric rates you don’t have to continue paying: start your DIY wind generator today.

Lots of folks are turning to do it yourself solar projects for two reasons: they’re lots of fun and they can save you money. There are also plenty of folks these days that are concerned about the environment and want to lower their carbon footprint. So, if you choose to build your own solar system you’re accomplishing a lot of things at once.

My goal is to show you what’s involved in creating this system, so we’ll examine some of the key components that go into a system like this.

For our purposes, we’ll assume that you want to build your own solar panel system as cheaply as possible. To do this, we’re going to try to use free or really cheap components whenever possible.

A Note About How Solar Electricity is Created: Solar electricity is created when sunlight hits special photovoltaic cells. The energy from the sunlight forces electrons loose in two directions, and this flow of electrons in both directions is indeed electricity! It’s a fairly simple concept, and you can learn plenty more about it towards the bottom of this page.

Ok, let’s discuss all the components required to build your own solar panel system:

1. Solar Panels

2. Array DC Disconnect

3. Charge Controller

4. Batteries

5. System Meter

6. Inverter

7. AC Breaker Panel

8. Kilowatt per Hour Meter

These are the main components, as I want you to have a good general overview of what components you’ll need to build your own solar panel system.

With the above components, you can create four types of solar panel systems:

A) Portable

B) Grid-Tie

C) Grid-Tie with Battery Backup

D) Off-Grid Solar System

Click Here for the FREE Renewable Energy Report

As you move from system A down to system D, the setup gets more complicated, and will require more of the 8 components mentioned above. Let’s talk a bit more in detail about these four types of systems:

►To sum up the portable system, it’s great for campgrounds or other similar situations, and you could probably put one together for under $200.

A portable system would look like this: Solar Panel > Charge Controller > Battery > Inverter.

►The grid tie system is a bit more involved, and it’s what most households that are still connected to the grid will opt to use. More than likely this is your scenario. The downside to this system is that it does not provide power to your home at night or when the sun isn’t shining. You only get power when the sun’s-a-shinin’!

The grid-tie system flowchart would look like this: Solar Panels > Array DC Disconnect > Inverter > AC Breaker Panel > Kilowatt Per Hour Meter > Grid tie in.

►The Grid Tie with Battery Backup system is simply an extension of system B. The main advantage here is that your home will be able to use stored solar energy at night, during rain, or on cloudy days.

The flowchart for this system would look like this: Solar Panels > Array DC Disconnect > Charge Controller > Deep Cycle Battery > System Meter > Main DC Disconnect > Inverter > AC Breaker Panel > Kilowatt Per Hour Meter > Grid Tie In

I told you they got more complicated as they went on! Spend some time with it and you’ll understand all of this. If you’re seriously planning to build your own solar panel system, I highly recommend you invest a few dollars in a how-to guide that will walk you step by step through everything.

►Off-Grid Systems are completely independant. This is for you folks that live way out in the boonies away from the utility grid! Here afe the steps in the off grid system: Solar Panels > Array DC Disconnect > Charge Controller > Deep Cycle Battery > System Meter > Main DC Disconnect > Inverter > Generator >AC Breaker Panel

I hope that now you have a good idea of what parts are involved when you build your own solar panel system. But worry if this seems a little overwhelming.
